House System

At OSEM, the House System is designed to foster a sense of discipline, loyalty, team spirit, and healthy competition among students and teachers. The entire school community is divided into four houses, each representing key values that shape character and leadership.

Structure of the House System

  1. Each house is led by a House In-charge and a team of House Teachers, supported by House Captains and Prefects.
  2. Every student is assigned to a house at the time of admission or upon joining the school.
  3. Various Inter-House Competitions are held throughout the year, encouraging participation in academics, arts, sports, and cultural activities.
  4. Students are expected to wear their House Uniform on days scheduled for sports or Inter-House activities.
  5. A list of all Inter-House activities is included in the Yearly Planner, categorized by group and class.
  6. Students are required to attend and actively participate in all activity demonstration sessions.

OATH

We, the students of Om Shanti English Medium School, promise to represent and serve our fellow students and set an example in all aspects of school life. We will adopt an active leadership role within the school and encourage the extension of school spirit and tone. We will serve as a positive role model, leader, and voice for the student population.

At OSEM, we believe in empowering students to be leaders of tomorrow. With that vision, the Student Council was established to give students a platform to develop responsibility, leadership, and service to the school community.

  • Head Boy & Head Girl
  • Deputy Head Boy & Deputy Head Girl
  • Prefects – Eight in total (Two from each house: One boy and one girl)
  • Happy-to-Help Volunteers – Two from each house
